Bank’s contribution to CRY

 Bangalore:
Corporation Bank
has made a contribution of Rs 19,712 to Child Relief and You (CRY)
on the occasion of the 55th year of Indian
Independence. Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha presented the cheque
to CRY on behalf of the bank.
The bank
made a grant of Rs 5 for every account open ed
between 1 August and 31 December 2001, both deposits and loans,
according to a press release issued here.
