I am positive about the budget, with the given focus in areas that needed them, especially infrastructure, rural and agri sectors. The right focus has been given. Even with regard to reform on the labour front, the budget has been good both from the workers' and companies' point of view. While companies have been given the freedom to reduce labour, the limit for application of the Industrial Disputes Act being raised from 100 to 1000, compensation for workers too has been increased from 15 days for every year of service to 45. There are two concerns -- one, the government move to reduce staff by 2 per cent is too little. It needs to be much more. The other concern is that of fiscal deficit. Government expenditure must be better managed, and leakage stopped. In this context, the decision of the government to implement 100 per cent metering of electricity is a good move, but the question is whether they would implement it. If they do, it will be fantastic, because there is so much leakage and pilferage, it will save a lot of money for the country. The thrust given to the infrastructure sector will give a boost to the economy, which will benefit every other business in the country
