domain-b, with its timely news reports and features, already has the best navigation system in the online media business, which allows you to find relevant business information you need in a jiffy, and lets you browse through tens of thousands of pages of business information with the minimum of effort.

Now we have added many other things that will bring you more information more easily and allow you to do more things with the information you get on domain-b. These are shown to you in context. So, when you open a report on auto companies' plans to introduce cars that run on bio-diesel, you will see a link to a backgrounder on bio-diesel. When you see a report on IBM doing something or other, you will see some titbits on IBM's origins, or some other interesting stuff about IBM. When you access reports in the Brand Dossier, you will see quizzes about brands to test your general knowledge.

Doing things with the information
When you see what domain-b offers now, you get the true meaning of the power of Internet media and their superiority over the print press and TV. We have used the powerful InformachineTM software engine to provide you these services. Take a look:

Saving for easy retrieval and access anywhere, anytime: When you wish to save a report on any website, you usually do that by saving it as a file on your hard disk. You can, of course, continue to do that - but now you can do more. You can save the report in your own 'cabinet' on domain-b. And, when you save it:

You can also bookmark it (to signify that it is important). You can add a bookmark to a saved report anytime later, if you want.

Whenever you wish to retrieve content you have already seen and saved in your cabinet on domain-b, just do a search for reports with bookmarks, or with any of your personalised labels or any of the standard labels. It's very, very fast and easy.

Tracking and alerts
The new domain-b.com has been designed to deliver directly the information most relevant to you. The domain-b dashboard and the domain-b tracker, are two different ways in which you can tell us what you consider relevant.

The dashboard: Your dashboard (scroll to the extreme right of any domain-b page) tells you at a glance all that is new in the areas that you are interested in. So, for example, if you select the M&A label for tracking, each time you log in, you will see a list of the latest mergers & acquisitions reports on domain-b. You can select up to five labels for such tracking free of cost, including industries, companies, management and marketing issues, and any others of the hundreds of standard labels on domain-b.
The tracker: Using the tracker you can choose to receive email alerts to new articles or news items that have been classified using the particular combinations of labels you find interesting. For example, if you're interested in brand management in the automotive industry, you could create a tracker that would alert you whenever there was a new article that was labelled not only as 'brand management' but also as 'auto industry'.

A fresh new look
domain-b's old design though very well appreciated by its readers, had become awkward and clunky as new sections and features were added to it over time. Technologies had also improved since the time the old interface was created. It was clearly time for a new design that took into account what was lacking in the old design. Here are some highlights of the new look and feel:

Better organised layout: every functional area is clearly demarcated. For example, the special interactive tools-such as the cabinet, and the dashboard-are placed in special boxes on the right of the page.

A more prominent navbar

We have made the main site navigation horizontal to highlight and make more accessible the range of content domain-b.com offers
The navigation bar has four levels neatly organised and arranged for easier navigation: main section links, special section links, special interactive section links, links to information on domain-b and TIC
A sober, urbane look that brings out the main content and images rather than smother it. We have honed our web development skills over the last 8 years and the new design is a reflection of the approach we have developed. We do not think that web page designs should be flashy and distracting. The reader is most interested in the content and the design should serve to highlight this content rather than bury it.
