VisualSoft Tech joins hands with Oracle

Mumbai: VisualSoft Technologies Ltd has joined hands with the US-based Oracle Corporation to provide integrated and value-added development solutions to the users of Oracle9i Jdeveloper.

The combination of Oracle9i Jdeveloper, with its flexible and open environment, and VisualSoft's JBPro suite of developer solutions will empower Java developers to develop cost-effective J2EE applications.

The integration of VisualSoft JBPro into Oracle9i Jdeveloper offers Java and XML developers functionally rich, ready-to-use components for building project management and collaborative workspace applications.

VisualSoft JBPro is a suite of ready-to-use flexible Java Beans to improve the performance and reliability of one's applications. It provides feature-rich functionality to build various charting, calendaring, scheduling and project management applications with ease.

VisualSoft had reported a net profit of Rs 55.34 million for the quarter ended 31 December 2001, as compared to Rs 206.46 million for the same period last year. The income from software sales was down by 39.65 per cent — from Rs 405.11 million in DQ-00 to Rs 244.49 million in DQ-01. The other income is at Rs 15.94 million in the quarter ended 31 December 2001, as compared to Rs 11.42 million in the quarter ended 31 December 2000.
