The Virgin Mobile television commercial for the company's Yo Yo tariff plan has run into rough weather at the Ministry for Information and Broadcasting.

The advertisment shows the nursing profession in a poor light. Several channels, including those owned by STAR India, confirmed that they have already taken the ad off air.
The campaign has been created by Bates 141.

The I&B ministry is setting up an interministerial committee, comprising joint secretaries from various government ministries, in order to take a final decision on the ad within the next fortnight. The ministry source says the committee will be headed by the I&B ministry's additional secretary, Uday Kumar Verma.
