Tata Global Beverages re-launches Tata Tea Premium

Tata Global Beverages Limited (TGBL) today announced the re-launch of its flagship tea brand, Tata Tea Premium in India.

The intent behind the re-launch is to take the brand further, said Sushant Dash, vice president, marketing of TGBL.

The Premium tea brand is currently the largest packet tea brand in the country and accounts for an eight per cent market share in the tea segment. It has a dominant presence in several states in the north, east and western part of the country.

The re-launch includes a new brand logo and packaging, aiming to give the brand a younger feel and stronger identity.

It also aims to highlight the unique mix of big and small grains created by tea experts, which ensures the right balance of aroma and strength so that consumers can enjoy a great cup of tea, the company said.

''What differentiates Tata Tea Premium from the others in the market is a unique blend which gives a cup of tea other brands find very difficult to match,'' added Dash.
