Two Sun Pharma units gets USFDA approval

Chennai: Two factories of Sun Pharmacuetical Industries Limited has received the United States Food and Drugs Administration (USFDA) clearance without a single adverse remark or observation

The two units located at Panoli (bulk active) and Halol (tablet manufacturing, both in Gujarat, were inspected and cleared by the USFDA. Interestingly Sun Pharma''s Halol plant is the first Indian tableting plant to get USFDA''s approcal.

With the recent approvals Sun Pharma has now three USFDA approved facilities to cater to the US market.

This USFDA approval is the second major international approval for the Panoli factory. European regulatory authorities have earlier approved this factory.
