Satyam Computers and Triple Point Technology in alliance

Satyam Computer Services Ltd and the US-based Triple Point Technology have announced a strategic alliance under which Satyam will provide integrated consulting, implementation and support services to the energy and utility (E&U) industry sector, for commodity trading, risk management and logistics system for Triple Point Technology .

Triple Point Technology is an infotech solutions and services provider to the commodity markets with multiple global locations, including a presence in India, in Pune.

The alliance between the two companies will provide a best-of-breed solution for clients seeking to integrate commodity trading and risk management systems with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other enterprise systems.

"The energy and utilities vertical markets is a rapidly growing practice for Satyam, particularly in our offerings in trading and risk management," said Dr Keshab Panda, head, European operations, Satyam Computer Services. "We are confident that our alliance with Triple Point, coupled with their expertise in this area, will help us meet the challenging business requirements in this industry segment. Satyam's objective has always been to deliver value to our customers".

The two companies will jointly market their services to new and shared clients in the E&U sectors.
