Satyam to implement ERP for WHO

Hyderabad: Satyam Computer Services (NYSE:SAY has been selected by the World Health Organization to implement its global management system. Satyam will spearhead the operational overhaul for WHO. Some of the IT industries biggest global firms were in the race for the contract.

WHO has embarked on a programme to substantially improve its operational efficiency in the

  • Effectiveness and outcomes of its funding programmes of its projects;
  • Interaction with the external donor community and with other agencies;
  • Integration of the operations of the country offices, regional offices and headquarters.

Satyam will implement a global rollout of an Oracle-based ERP system that includes full functionality and end-to-end processes, throughout WHO including its regional offices and in over 140 country offices.
