Hyderabad: B Ramalinga Raju, founder and chairman, Satyam Computer Services Ltd. has has taken over as the vice chairman of NASSCOM (National Association of Software Companies) for 2005-2006.

As the vice chairman of India's premier trade body and the chamber of commerce of the IT software and services industry in India, Raju will assist the NASSCOM chairman in providing leadership and guidance to its different initiatives to maintain India's global leadership in Information Technology and further enhancing its competitiveness and pre-eminence in this sector.
