Samsung India yesterday launched the world's thinnest 3D LED television - with a screen as thin as 7.98 millimetres - in Bangalore.

The new C9000 series 3D LED television comes with a 55-inch screen size and stainless steel bezel and would be available in the market in about five days. It has a price tag of around Rs4,40,000.

"The new offering from Samsung has the capability to convert 2D content to 3D content live through CD chip," Samsung India deputy managing director Ravinder Zutshi told presspersons during the launch here.

"We are introducing our flagship 9000 series of full HD 3D LED televisions in the Indian market today," he told reporters.

The TV has built-in 3D processors' auto-conversion technology that can automatically convert 2D content into 3D.

Its `Allshare' feature allows users to wirelessly connect their TV with compatible mobile devices, which enables sharing of movies, photos and music through the TV.
