Punj Lloyd to build AIIMS Raipur

New Delhi: Ddiversified global engineering group Punj Lloyd Group today  said that it has been tasked by the health ministry to build the medical college and hostel complex at the proposed All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Raipur.

It said that the Rs115-core order will be executed over a period of 15 months.

AIIMS Raipur will be one of the six referral hospitals on the lines of AIIMS, New Delhi, that the ministry of health would be setting up across the country. The 960-bed hospital will provide healthcare facilities in 39 specialty and super-specialty disciplines.

This is the Punj Group's second medical sector construction project after the completion of Medanta, the 45-acre multi-specialty medical institute, Medicity, in Gurgaon, offering the latest medical facilities, including R&D centre, educational, residential and attendants' accommodation.
