Polaris
Software and Interwoven, a leading global provider of
content management solutions, came together to organise
a round table on ''enterprise content management'' in Mumbai
today.
The
round table, which focused on the manufacturing sector,
featured S R Ramaswami, senior vice president and member
of the corporate leadership team of Polaris, Sunil Chavan,
country head, India, Interwoven, Sanjay Sood, head, internet
banking, ICICI, Manoj Srivastava, head, IT, Bharti Infotel
and C R Narayanan, ITC Director, Alstom India.
Speaking
on Polaris'' partnership with Interwoven, Ramaswami said,

the manufacturing sector."
Over
25 senior invitees attended the round table from the enterprise
and manufacturing community. Following this event, Polaris
and Interwoven plan to extend similar round tables on
the relevance of content management to other industrial
sectors.
The
objective of holding the round table was to create a greater
impact of the business value that content management can
bring about in larger enterprises. The analyst group''s
recent findings also indicate that the content applications
/ content management software market is expected to reach
an estimated size of $52 million by 2007.
Interwoven with its cutting edge solutions and Polaris
as a strong implementation partner, propose to work together
in close partnership to target this market.
