Nokia to release the N96 mobile phone in India today
Weighing 125 grams, the N96 handset has a 16GB internal flash memory plus a memory card slot for easy expansion and flexibility.
With a storage capacity of approximately 12,000 songs and ability to play 40 hours of video, the Nokia battery has a standby time of up to 220 hours based on the usage and the characteristic of the data.
The display is 2.8 inch QVGA(240 x 320 pixels) LCD TFT display with up to 16 million colours .
A flash media support is provided by the browser; other video formats supported are MPEG-4 Part two, MPEG-4 Part ten, Windows Media video (WMV 9) and RealVideo (QCIF).
Music features of the mobile phone include digital music player,digitalisation and visualisation, playlist editing and sharing and downloading songs.
It also supports a FM Radio and has a built in GPS receiver.
Along with facilities like emailing, navigation and easy messaging it has a built in 5 mega-pixel camera.
The cost of the mobile is about Rs.35,000.
