Bangalore: Mphasis, a leading provider of software, system integration technology and IT-enabled services for customer-focused corporation, has announced the appointment of Preeti Mishra Shenoy as its marketing director.
She would be in charge of global marketing initiatives, wherein she would be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Mphasis brand and ensuring that right associations are made with Mphasis.
Says Mphasis chairman and CEO Jerry Rao: "Shenoy's appointment as marketing director will contribute significantly towards strengthening and consolidating our business. Her multifold experience in branding and marketing will greatly aid our business development capabilities and expand our already diverse client-base by creating the right kind of recognition and recall for Mphasis."
Prior to this, Shenoy was heading Mphasis' usability engineering team (UET). In her yearlong stint here, her focus was on juxtaposing her expertise and learning in brand-building with the demand of new technologies arena. At Mphasis, she was responsible for setting up UET, which today boasts of an enviable client list.
Shenoy has had 12 years of experience with JWT India (HTA) where, as strategic planning director, she was involved in brand-building strategies. At HTA, she had worked extensively with high-profile blue-chip multinational clients like HLL, Kellogg's, Mattel and Standard-Chartered Bank.
