Arcelor Mittal hikes flat carbon steel prices in Europe

London: Global steel major one Arcelor Mittal has announced an average price increase of five per cent on its flat carbon products for sales in Europe, as market environment remained favourable overall.

Arcelor Mittal will also launch a unified and modified price list of extras for qualities and dimensions as part of the ongoing commercial integration of its European flat carbon steel division, the company said in a statement.

The price increase and the new price list will be applicable as on 1 April, 2007.
