Ma Foi to increase job centres

Chennai: The Chennai-based staffing and human resource services firm Ma Foi Management Consultants Limited has decided to increase the number of Ma Foi Job Centres to 25 this year. The centre is a neighbourhood retail outlet where job seekers can step in and apply for jobs in their locality. Presently the company has seven such centres in Mumbai and places around 3,000 people per month.

Meanwhile the company has posted a net revenue of Rs43.5 crore for the half year ended June 31, 2006 as against Rs26.7 crore for the corresponding period last year. The gross revenue for the first half of the current financial year is Rs144.64 crore as against Rs87.9 crore posted the previous year.

The growth was fuelled by high value, innovative human resource solutions like Interim Management coupled with foreign companies setting up production base here. Ma Foi is in the process of delivering a dealer assessment solutions for a European auto major.

The company has also entered into a two year contract with a leading Middle East based Aluminium producer to provide end to end services relating to cross border recruitment of over 900 personnel.

The staffing division scaled up the deputee count to 20,324 during the first six months of the current year.
