Microsoft Surface Book 2 coming to India in 13 and 15 inch versions

The Microsoft Surface Book 2 laptop is coming to India in both 13-inch and 15 inch versions later this year.
Microsoft had launched the Surface Book 2 last year in two variants - 13-inch and 15-inch, but only the 13-inch variant was available till now in select markets, including the US. The 15-inch model will be available for pre-orders in 17 markets, but not in India. Later this year however, the Surface Book 2 will become available both in its 13-inch and 15-inch versions in all Surface markets, including India and 16 other markets. An exact date for the second phase of rollouts is yet to be announced, but pricing of the 13-inch model of Microsoft Surface 2 starts at $1,499 (roughly Rs95,800), and 15-inch model at $2,499 (roughly Rs1,60,000)
According to Microsoft's blog, the pre-orders for Surface Book 2 (15-inch) will open Wednesday in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
Meanwhile, countries like Bahrain, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the UAE will get both the 13-inch and 15-inch Surface Book 2 later this year.
