Microsoft introduces Office 365 for businesses in India

Microsoft today announced the availability of the cloud-compatible Office 365, which can be installed across multiple devices - tablets, PCs, phones, hybrids, etc.  for businesses.

It said Office 365 works across multiple devices, is social and integrates seamlessly with the cloud. It unlocks newer productivity scenarios and provides organisations with the desired IT control and management. Simultaneously, Microsoft also made available business SKUs of Office 2013 for on-premises users.

"The next generation Office 365 is the most comprehensive productivity suite with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Access, Project and Visio," it sdaid in a media statement.
It also includes updated Microsoft Lync Online, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and the all new Yammer, microsoft said.

In Office 365 SharePoint integrates with Yammer and Lync to provide a social layer that brings people and teams together to collaborate and share organisational knowledge and information.

Office 365 can be installed on up to five devices for a single user under the Office 365 licensing.
