Maruti Suzuki launches new WagonR version

Maruti Suzuki India Limited unveiled a new version of the Wagon R priced between Rs3.28 lakh and Rs3.81 lakh in New Delhi today. The new version is more spacious with a wheelbase of 2,400 mm the longest in its class. 

The new Maruti Suzuk WagonR comes in three variants Lx, Lxi and Vxi and in seven exuberant colors. Metallic breeze blue is the new offering's signature colour while Superior white, midnight black, baker's chocolate, breeze blue, fire brick red, silky silver and glistening grey are the other colour options available to suit individual preferences. 

But the new WagonR is not only about space it also makes a powerful style statement. Titled 'the blue eyed boy' it features new, powerful and highly fuel efficient 998 cc K-series engine, delivering a fuel efficiency of 18.9 kmpl.

The car features a new transmission with cable-type gearshift coupled with superior suspension technology. Maruti Suzuki's latest offering conforms to Bharat Stage IV emission norms and will roll out from the company's Gurgaon facility.

The new WagonR offers a high degree of occupant safety thanks to its rigid cage structure technology coupled with increased frontal impact absorbing area. The car's greater distance between steering wheel and front bumper makes for greater safety of passengers. 

The Vxi variant has front and rear fog lamps, rear wiper and washer, rear defogger, dual horn and comes with safety features including airbag and ABS as options.
