Korean electronics giant LG, encouraged by the tremendous response to its mobile handsets in India, has announced the introduction of three new models to its product portfolio, targeted and priced at completely different categories.

The product launches were announced only two days after LG Electronics India registered a record turnover of Rs11,150 crore, including an unprecedented Rs700 crore from its GSM mobile handset division. The latter grew by a whopping 58 per cent this year, and the latest launches are expected to strengthen its hold on the market.

The three new models - KF510, KP320 and KP110 - are aimed at high-end, mid-end, and entry- level consumers respectively. They are individually priced at Rs12,250, Rs7,990 and Rs2,899 respectively. While the KP320 extends the company's existing Dynamite range and the KP110 is a new addition to LG's Bullet series of mobile phones, the top-end KF510 creates its own category.

KF510 ''We are very excited about the launch of these three handsets and expect tremendous response for consumers. KF510 is an exceptionally slim slider phone; KP320 comes with advanced features and is economically priced; and KP110 is a fully loaded music phone. KP320The KP320, a slim candy bar phone with a stylish leather finish, is targeted at customers who primarily depend on their mobile phones for camera and music player functionality.
