Pune-based two-wheeler manufacturing company, Kinetic Engineering Limited, has web-enabled its sales operations with the launch of "Kinetic Online", an online system that facilitates quick interaction between its production, supply and sales departments.

The new system, it is believed, will e-enable its dealers and facilitate proper flow of information on stock status, spare parts availability, order, flow and status.

Its dealers can now simply log on to Kinetic Online and place fresh orders at the factory or depot, as per customer requirements in terms of the colour and model. They can also place orders for spares.

The company believes that the system will result in improved availability of products and reduced inventory levels at dealerships, eventually leading to better service for the end customer.

According to Mr. Arun Pande, managing director of the company, the launch of the online solution gives the company the chance to further demonstrate its mettle of being a service-oriented firm, for whom the customer is its "raison d'etre". With this, the company hopes establish a better relationship with both internal and external customers, as the company will be able to streamline its operations by reducing its inventory and optimising the flow of funds.
