Keltron records 15 per cent growth

Kochi: The Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (KELTRON), a State Government undertaking, has recorded a 15 per cent growth in its turnover and production during the financial year ended March 31, 2004.

The company netted a sales turnover of Rs 83.33 crore against the Rs 72 crore of the previous year. Its production has also improved from Rs 32 crore to Rs 37 crore during the period under review.

According to the company, value-added products, services, software, training, trading and solutions contributed Rs 46 crore to its turnover.

The five fully owned subsidiary companies of Keltron in Kannur and Kuttippuram, engaged in electronic components manufacturing, recorded a turnover of Rs 39 crore, taking the group turnover to Rs 122 crore.
