Infosys Q3 net up

Bangalore: Infosys Technologies has posted a 51 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs497.34 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs328.51 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.

In a statement released to the BSE, the total income has increased 47 per cent to Rs1921.92 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 from Rs1303.47 crore in the Q3-03.

The company has posted a 51 per cent rise in net profit to Rs495.97 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 as compared to Rs328.14 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2003.

The total income has shot up 44 per cent to Rs1845.29 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 from Rs1282.74 crore in Q3-03.

"We have seen another quarter of robust growth, "said Nandan M Nilekani, CEO, president and managing director. "Infoscions have shown great energy and enthusiasm for all our new initiatives".
