Delhi: Hindustan Motors (HM) has registered a significant increase in
sales of its Ambassador car in the month of May 2005. The company sold 1,010

In the last two months (April-May 2005), Ambassador recorded sales of 2,012
units that is 16 per cent more than the corresponding period last year.
This growth is due to sustained customer-oriented approach at Hindustan
Motors. The

1800cc CNG Ambassador Grand, incorporates features like power steering,
power window, central locking and remote controlled MP3 music system. To
give further impetus in the drive to protect the environment, Hindustan

new Bharat Stage (BS) III norms. Its regular model Ambassador Classic has
been scoring high in ownership experience due to HM''s product upgradation
initiatives, which has significantly contributed to the growth in Ambassador
sales. Commenting
on Ambassador''s performance, Soni Shrivastav, general manager, Corporate
Communications, C.K Birla Group said, "The growth in sales performance
of the Ambassador can be attributed to the continuous improvements we have
been bringing into the product. Our strong marketing network and after sales

and Ambassador customers are happy with the ownership experience."
