Hikal posts 13% sales turnover in Q3, touches Rs 30.68 crore

Mumbai: Hikal Ltd has posted a 13-per cent growth in its sales turnover which has touched Rs 30.68 crore for the third quarter ended 31 December 2002 as compared to Rs 27.05 crore during the corresponding period of the previous year.

The profit before tax increased by 10 per cent to Rs 5.59 crore as against Rs 5.08 crore in the third quarter of the previous financial year.

The company's sales turnover for the nine-month period ended 31 December 2002 grew by 15 per cent to Rs 88.12 crore as against Rs 76.25 crore registered during the corresponding period the previous year.

The profit before tax at Rs 14.52 crore registered a growth of 11 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous year as against Rs 13.09 crore.
