Hexaware Technologies wins $3-million Belgian contract

Mumbai: Hexaware Technologies, global IT service provider, has announced having received a $3-million multi-year contract with a global banking and insurance conglomerate (without naming the entity) in a media communiqué yesterday.

Hexaware bagged the application maintenance project, which involves supporting a 2-core applications — investment banking and credit applications. Under this assignment Hexaware's team will provide multiple level support to both the users and IT team of the bank, using on-site and offshore delivery model, which is based in Belgium.

Hexaware has developed strong capabilities in the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) segment. For the fiscal of 2004, almost 40 per cent of its total revenue of Rs5,458.90 million came from the BFSI vertical.
