California-based company SanDisk has joined hands with India's HCL Infosystems for distribution of its mobile data-storage accessories in India.

SanDisk's president and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said the partnership would combine the mobile distribution prowess of HCL and SanDisk's offering for mobile phones, thus ''producing an effect larger than the sum of their individual effects.'' He added that through this partnership they intended to have a broader reach in India, one of the world's biggest mobile markets.

The company's mobile phone accessories, such as mobile 2 GB to 16 GB memory cards and MobileMate USB readers, provide users with a complete solution, that is competent in many areas, for the transfer of music, video, photos etc between mobile memory cards and computers.
