Google has lined up a plethora of offerings for Tuesday, 29 september.

According to commentators, Google's Nexus line of smartphones had long been overdue for an update and the company was expected to unveil two smartphones, this year instead of one smartphone and one tablet. Following last year's, Nexus 6, the company is due to unveil a successor, which had been dubbed the Nexus 6P according to many reports in the press.

The Nexus 6P would reportedly be made by Chinese company Huawei and would be the first all metal Nexus device. The screen size of the phone would be down to 5.7-inches, also it would have a super-sharp 2K screen.

The phone would be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor, which had been seen in devices like the OnePlus 2. Like the OnePlus 2, it would also be one of the first phones in the market to come with the reversible USB Type-C connector. The phone would also have a monstrous 3,450 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, ahead of the event tomorrow, a presentation slide leak had made it to the internet confirming 'almost' everything about the new Huawei Nexus 6P.

The leaked slides showed in-depth details about the new Nexus 6P including how the Huawei-made Nexus was the first all-metal Nexus smartphone, corroborating an earlier report that claimed one of the Nexus smartphones would feature a metal build.

It features Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to protect from scratches on screen and one slide showed three highlights for the Nexus 6P smartphone including sleek design, fast and powerful operation in addition to the 5.7-inch screen.

One of the leaked slides for the tech specifications of the Nexus 6P showed the entire insides including 5.7-inch QHD display; Android 6.0 Marshmallow; Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (v2.1); 3450mAh battery; 178-gram weight; dual front-ported speakers, and USB Type-C support, in line the claims of earlier leaks.

In April, Google announced a wireless service, called called Project Fi, for owners of its Nexus 6 smartphone. (See: Google announces wireless service for Nexus 6 smartphone users).
