Mumbai: Godrej Hair Care Institute, a centre dedicated to the art and science of hair care in India, has launched Godrej Renew Hair Colour Cream, a unique vitamin enriched cream-based hair colour. This is the first time that the hair care division of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd is coming up with a cream-based formulation for hair colours.

Godrej Renew contains a breakthrough formula containing the herbal nourishment of hibiscus and aloe Vera extracts. Aloe Vera moisturises and protects the hair while giving the scalp a soothing feeling. The natural goodness of hibiscus lends lustre to the hair making it soft and silky. It also gives volume and shine to the hair making it strong and resistant.

The product is available in four smart shades for new looks — natural black, natural brown, burgundy, and light brown — at an introductory price of Rs 65. The shades of natural black and natural brown ensure 100 per cent grey coverage. Burgundy and light brown give a gorgeous look to regular black hair.

Each pack of Godrej Renew Hair Care Cream contains a 50ml colourant, 50ml developer, and four 6ml sachets of revitalising conditioner. The special conditioner provides nourishment and moisture to coloured hair, while the special applicator ensures even colouring.

Says Godrej Consumer Products executive president and director H K Press: "Godrej Renew Hair Colour Cream is an initiative from the Godrej Hair Care Institute to fulfil the need of the emerging urban Indian consumer to keep abreast of the latest in international hair fashion. The product is easily affordable and is in sync with the latest fashion trends in hair care. Specially designed keeping in mind the texture and colour of Indian hair the product also eliminates grey hair giving your hair an even texture and glow."

Godrej Renew Hair Colour Cream will be available in all leading stores in major cities across India.
