Electrolux ropes in Sonam Kapoor as brand ambassador

Home appliances maker, Electrolux has signed Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor as its brand ambassador in India.
As per the contract, Kapoor will endorse Electrolux products through promotions, advertising and marketing.
This is the first time the home appliances brand is opting for a brand ambassador.
"At Electrolux, we are currently rejuvenating our brand identity with a renewed focus on innovation and excellence in performance,'' said Sajeev R, chief operating officer – Electrolux, PE Electronics Ltd.
Electrolux is sold and marketed by PE Electronics Ltd, a new business unit that brings together two premium brands Philips (range of television products) and Electrolux (range of home appliances ) as a single entity under a unique brand licensee agreement.
Electrolux's product portfolio includes refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves and air conditioners.
