Mumbai: Cisco Systems, the global leader in networking for the internet, today announced that it will host a three city roadshow on Cisco''s latest routing and switching solutions for the enterprise market. This would include product updates on the latest ISR (integrated services routers) series of routers as well as updates on its Catalyst range of switches introduced by Cisco in May this year

Cisco''s annual foundation technologies road show is scheduled for July 21 in Pune, July 25 in New Delhi and July 28 in Chennai. The road show will give the participants an opportunity to learn about Cisco''s latest and newest core technologies, solutions and products, understand Cisco''s unique value proposition and advantages over competitors in the market. The road show will also provide intensive technical updates on key networking technology areas which would also include Cisco''s ''network management software'' and the industry leading IOS software.

The Indian networking market grew at a rate of 29 per cent reaching Rs5,261 in 2004-05 as per estimates by Voice and Data 100. Cisco currently leads the Indian routing and switching market with a dominant market share of 78.8 per cent and 70.9 per cent respectively. It has a total LAN market share of 74.1 per cent as per IDC LAN Tracker Quarter 1.
