Coal India to hire 1,500 executives by December

State-run Coal India Ltd today said it planned to hire 1,500 executives by December next year and its recruitment advertisements would be out in early July 2012.

According to Coal India, director (personnel and industrial relation) R Mohan Das, the company would recruit around 1,500 management trainees by December, 2012, and would come out with advertisements for vacancies by either February or March next year.

He added the company had around 4,000 vacancies.

CIL would be hiring for the requirements of around 16 divisions, including human resources, finance, marketing and sales. The selection process is slated to begin in February, 2012, and would be completed by December next year, Das said.

The company, has a 3.80 lakh strong workforce.

Earlier, the company had said it planned to hire 1,400 executives by October this year.
