New head for Ashok Leyland's product development

New Delhi: A Ramasubramaniam, until recently the CEO of Eicher Tractors, has been appointed executive director, product development, Ashok Leyland..

He takes over from M Natraj, who will be responsible for the advanced engineering group and the newly formed design and engineering services group.

Ramasubramaninam has three decades of experience in automotive design, engineering and operations, and was responsible for the indigenous development of light and medium commercial vehicle models.
