Idea Cellular, India's third largest mobile operator, has launched a scheme that enables its post-paid subscribers to choose, create and customise their monthly plan from a bouquet of voice and data packs.

With the i-Plan, customers can choose from an array of rental plans, starting from Rs199 to Rs999, depending on their usage pattern, needs and requirements. Customers can opt for a range of packs offering voice, SMS and data benefits.

Idea is also offering the option of add-on packs which users can combine with their monthly rentals to create their best suited plan.

The Idea i-Plan is available across all circles (except Punjab), it said in a statement.

''The i-Plan is in line with our 'Customer First' approach as it gives the customers the freedom of choice, personalisation, flexibility, and control. The postpaid category is maturing and comprises high ARPU (average revenue per user) customers who have different needs and requirements which will now be catered aptly by the new i-Plan,'' said Sashi Shankar, Chief Marketing Officer, Idea Cellular.

The i-Plan offer is available for all new and existing post-paid subscribers who can activate the plan by simply selecting the rental plan, followed by the free packs, and Top-up with any add-on pack if chosen.

To choose the i-Plan, Idea customers should dial '121' from or visit the nearest Idea store.
