Idea launches new packs for Delhi and Punjab users

Idea Cellular on Thursday launched special communication services for subscribers / visitors in wake of the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
Idea will provide instant information on the games, tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, events, and transportation facilities in and around the city, besides affordable ISD tariffs, especially to the Commonwealth countries, to its subscribers and the visiting tourists in the city.
The 'Idea City Life' initiative is designed to act as an information guide to Delhi.
Under this service, two regular SMS alerts relevant to the city on topics like restaurant reviews, sales and exhibitions, theatre schedules and information, movie reviews and night life will be sent to the user, everyday.
Two alerts on medal tally and games updates will also be part of the initiative, at a price of Rs40 for Idea subscribers. The alerts will carry an USSD code, which can be dialled to know more about the topics.
The 'Idea Inroamer Infoline', is an interactive, IVR-based service with SMS integration, which allows users to search for the location of shopping malls, ATM's, restaurants, coffee shops and other service outlets in the city.
