Headstrong Corporation to increase its head count in Bangalore

Bangalore: The US based $100 million revenue global consultancy company Headstrong Corporation has decided to focus on financial services sector and to emerge a major player in this vertical by 2005. Towards this the company has decided to provide customised solutions for the American securities industry.
Given its strong focus on the Financial Services sector, the company is confident of growing the contribution of its FS division from $23 to $45 million by December 2004.
Headstrong's investment banking centre in Bangalore is expected to contribute to a large extent for this. The centre currently employs ninety financial services domain specialists dedicated to providing solutions for the US financial market. Headstrong is also on course to intensify its recruitment drive and more than double its headcount in its Bangalore by employing 250 people by the end of 2004. The centre develops a suite of financial services that includes customised products — reusable software components and prototypes for deployment in private wealth management, order management systems, securities lending, fixed income trading applications, analytics, among others. The company provides Financial Service solutions from three global delivery centres in Noida, Bangalore and Manila.
