Publicis Dialog to promote olive oil in India

Olive oil will soon be in the news.  Publicis Groupe has bagged the International Olive Council's media mandate and Publicis Dialog will promote olive oil and table olives in India.

Publicis Dialog is the activation arm of Publicis.

Publicis Dialog will work with agr! agro, the arm of Publicis that specialises in communication for the food and agriculture industries, though it does not have a presence in India, as yet.

agr! agro! will be the central agency in charge of the campaign and will take care of the marketing services- media planning and purchasing for International Olive Council.

The two agencies will will create campaign to promote the use of table olives and Olive Oil in India.

Publicis will be involved in the promotional campaign of Olive Oil and Table Olive in India for 2008 -2009.

With the slogan "For a Tastier and Healthier Tomorrow," the campaign is focused on the unique taste, quality and health aspects derived from table olives and olive oil.

The public relations mandate will be handled by Hanmer MS&L, part of MS&L Worldwide- member of the Publicis Groupe while the creative, Below the Line (BTL) and Above the Line (ATL) activities will be handled by Publicis Dialog.

The olive oil market is a distinctive market whose development is influenced heavily by factors such as the geographical location of olive growing in areas that are subject to cyclical periods of drought.

The campaign will be launched in India on 21 May in Bengaluru.

The campaign will include exhibitions, international food fairs, road shows, newsletters and updated website, women's workshop and public lectures.
