O&M continues on winning spree

O&M is on a roll. Close on the heels of a brilliant showing at the Goa Ad Fest, the agency has struck it again at the American One Show awardsas well. The finalists for the One Show have been declared for two categories – Interactive and Design, and O&M is ahead in the race.

Across both categories, O&M led from India with a score of 10, all of which are in the Design category. The One Show awards in New York, now in its ninth year, have become a highly-respected worldwide competition that's unique in the industry for recognizing excellence in design.

O&M's works for Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (corporate identity – Single) titled Ornithologist; for GlaxoSmithKline (collateral design - posters) titled Mixes; for The Reader's Shop (POP and in-store) titled Dogs; and for Unilever (collateral promotion) are strong contenders at the short film fest.

The list of the agency's work continues with the creative for postal services India Post in collateral promotion and direct mail sub-categories titled Stamp.

O&M has also reached the finals for WWF India (public service - posters sub-category) for three separate works - Circle of Life (single), Flock of Birds (single) and Save Ourselves (campaign)

It hs also reached the finals in the in public service in the poster (single) sub category for the work, Save Trees-Mouths-2, created for Sanctuary magazine.

Cheil and Leo Burnett follow closely, with four and three finalist nominations, respectively.  Cheil's work, titled Trace and Learn for Noah's Ark Creative Academy, has been finalised in the booklet / brochure category; for Easy Ride Valet Parking Services in the corporate identity (single) sub-category for the work titled Valet Parking stub; for the corporate identity (single) for Camouflage Store (work titled Camouflage) and for its collateral design - posters (campaign) for Samsung MP3 Players, titled Life's a Playlist.

Leo Burnett has three nominations in the Design category and one in the Interactive category. Out of the three, two nominations are for Luxor. One comes in the design category for the corporate identity (for the work titled pre highlighted stationary) for Luxor Writing Instruments.

The second is in the Interactive category, for Banners (campaign) for Dynamic Luxor Highlighters, titled Innovation. The third nomination in the Design category for Leo Burnett is for Product Design (campaign) for Lokart Paint Thinner (for the work – Splash). The fourth entry is for Package Design (single) for Fudkor Foods for its work on Lemon Tea Bags.

Two entries from CreativeLand Asia also have finalist nominations in the Design category. The work titled Spanner for Binal Makhija Car Repair has got a nomination for Creativeland Asia in the Corporate Identity (single) sub-category. In the same category, the agency has got a finalist for Car Mall for the work titled Used Cars.

Dizzy Design and JWT, too, have two entries in the finalists. Dizzy Design has both entries for Bombay Bakery for its work, Edible Visiting Card – one in the Corporate Identity (single) sub-category and the other in the Collateral Promotion sub-category.

JWT has one entry in the Collateral Design - Posters (campaign) sub-category for MW.com for its work, Rolling Stone India. The second nomination is in the Public Service- Posters (single) sub category for SIED for its work titled Animal Tree.

McCann Erickson, Kritik, Sameer Kochure and Red Lion are the others nominated amongst the finalists in the Corporate Identity sub-category of the Design category.
While Rediffusion Y&R and Joshbro Communications have one nomination each in the Collateral Design - Posters sub-category in the Design category, Euro RSCG has an entry in the Design category for Direct Mail.

In the Interactive Category, the second and final nomination in the E-mail Marketing (single) sub-category from India is by G2 Direct & Digital for Ojus Medical Institute, for its work, Be Aware.
