New KFC ad in UK focuses on freshness

In order to show consumers, the freshness of their products, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) UK, has launched a new ad campaign shot in a documentary style which focuses on how the chicken is prepared in store. The campaign will go on air this week.

The campaign features a television ad shot in an actual KFC kitchen and demonstrates how products such as the KFC Original Recipe chicken are prepared in store - which are hand-breaded by cooks in each store, every day. The 30-second ad features a chef discussing the importance of fresh ingredients, and highlighting the batches of fresh chicken that arrive every morning.

A series of print advertisements will highlight KFC's commitment to freshly prepared, farm assured, grade A chicken from the same leading UK suppliers used by Britain's major supermarkets.

The ad is created Bartle Bogle Hegarty has a very naturalistic and documentary style.
