TDI International wins Kochi account

Transport Display and Innovation, (TDI) International India, and Laqshya Media respectively will now be handling advertising for the domestic and international terminals at Kochi and Coimbatore. There were six companies vying for the advertising rights at Kochi airport, while four firms were in the race for the advertising rights at the Coimbatore airport.

The advertisement rights for Kochi airport are for an five-year contract with indoor and outdoor advertising options, while the Coimbatore contract is for a period of seven years and includes exclusive advertising rights for both within and outside the international and domestic terminals too.

TDI specialises in Out of Home (OOH) advertising at airports. Established in 1986 Transport Display Innovation, TDI International India Limited, has established itself at all international and domestic airports throughout India. The company boasts of 17 branches countrywide with full fledged infrastructure,

TDI International India won the rights with a bid amount of approximately Rs 70 crore, according to sources close to the development. This is TDI's 12th major win, with the airport OOH advertising rights for Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Goa, Pune, Vadodara, Thiruvananthapuram, Amritsar, Jammu, Calicut and Tirupati airports already in its fold.

Advertising displays, signages, advertising messages would be allowed at baggage claim, security check and on the approach road. Both the companies will operate, manage and maintain advertisements by offering the locations to clients.
