Crewe-based British luxury car maker Bentley Motors, a part of the Volkswagen group, will ship to India its fastest and most powerful Bentley model ever, the Continental Supersports.

It is the extreme Bentley, a muscular two-seater that delivers supercar performance and a highly focused driving experience.

The Supersports is also the first Bentley capable of running on both petrol (gasoline) and biofuel, pioneering the use of FlexFuel technology in the luxury sector. This represents stage one of the company's commitment to make its complete model range compatible with renewable fuels by 2012.

The car will be available through Exclusive Motors Pvt Ltd, Bentley's official representative in India, which will introduce Bentley's flagship grand tourer, Mulsanne in October this year. (See: Bentley Mulsanne debuts in India)

Speaking on the occasion Satya Bagla, managing director, Exclusive Motors Pvt Ltd said,'' We are ecstatic to launch the new Bentley Continental Supersports in India.

Being the fastest and most powerful Bentley the coupe is sure to excite the speed lovers in India. It is our constant endeavour to bring the best in the luxury auto space to our customers. Bentley Continental Supersports has received an overwhelming response worldwide and we are hoping that our Indian audiences will be thrilled with the machine as well.''
