BMW India rolls out 5 Series sedan

Chennai: Luxury car manufacturer BMW India Pvt Limited will start offering its Made in India 5 series models in the Indian market. The models will be available in three petrol variants - 523i (price Rs37 lakh) 525i (Rs40.9 lakh) and 530i (Rs45 lakh) and one diesel variant - 525d (Rs42.4 lakh).
The prices are uniform across the country. The 5 series sedans will be available in an exclusive range of paint finishes: Black Sapphire, Monaco Blue, Titanium Silver and Platinum Grey and Luxurious Upholstery Materials: Dakota Leather Black, Dakota Leather Grey and Dakota leather Beige.
According
to president BMW India Peter Kronschnabl, the 5 series
with its new six cylinder in line engine and electronically
controlled gearshift reaches a new standard of perfection.
