Jet Airways appoints Gerry Oh as regional vice president for SE Asia

New Delhi: Jet Airways has appointed Gerry Oh as its new regional vice president for South East Asia with immediate effect. Gerry Oh will oversee the airline's regional sales and marketing operations and lead the airline's rapid expansion in the region. Gerry Oh will be based in Singapore.

His appointment, according to the carrier, is part of its comprehensive plans to expand its international operations and also to strengthen its management team.

Gerry Oh brings to the company a wealth of travel industry experience having had a distinguished career in Singapore Airlines spanning more than 25 years. His work here included engineering, route planning, alliances and marketing.

He was also the airline's vice president for marketing communications & development and subsequently served as vice president for global sales & distribution.

He also spent several years in the field as country manager/state manager for the airline in Europe, North America, Sri Lanka and Australia.
