Besides Kolkata, Qatar Airways operates daily flights from Doha to Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Trivandrum, Chennai, Bangalore, with 11 flights a week to Cochin and a double daily to the capital Delhi, Baker said.

Worldwide Qatar Airways operates from 109 destinations. It has posted a net profit of $215 million in 2010-11.
