New Delhi: Club One Air, whose fractional ownership programme is India's first, has announced plans for launching a subsidiary company that will field its new Very Light Jets - Eclipse and Cirrus. It said that the new organisation will be a separate entity, with Club One Air remaining the mother brand.

According to the company, the subsidiary, which will be launched in July 2008, will present a different brand profile and cater to a different profile of customers. Its clientele will be completely different from Club One's High Networth Individual (HNI) customers.

The Eclipse, a jet aircraft, and the Cirrus, which is a turboprop, have limited seating capacities and are aimed at individuals or corporates that wish to commute between cities.

The subsidiary will target corporate customers in Tier-II cities like Surat, Ludhiana, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

Club One Air also said it is looking at tying up with travel companies with a view to market their new project.
