Invision Projects signs up for 20 Embraer business jets, to start air taxi operations

Mumbai: Invision Projects Pvt Ltd has said that it has signed an agreement with Brazilian aerospace firm Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica SA (Embraer) to buy 20 executive jets valued at about $69.4 million.
In a release, Invision said the deliveries of the 18 Phenom 100 and two Phenom 300 type business jets would start from Aug 2010.
Invision said it plans to launch a general aviation company, Invision Air, in Jan 2008 for providing charter and air taxi operations.
The release said the Phenom 100 jets are expected to cost around $2.98 million each while the Phenom 300 is priced at $6.65 million each.
