To celebrate 60 years of India's independence, the Wadia group's budget arrier GoAir will honour senior citizens by offering them a ticket to fly to any GoAir destination in India, free of cost.

GoAir airport counters across the country are offering free tickets to senior citizens - over 60 years of age - from 8 August onwards.

Senior citizens need to present a valid proof of age at any GoAir airport counter and, says GoAir, the airline will fly them free to any of 11 destinations during the period 10 to 31 August 2007.

Tickets would need to be booked at least two days prior to the travel date. The passenger needs to pay only the taxes and surcharges.
