New VPs for Arvind Brands
Bangalore: Arvind Brands Ltd has announced the appointment of three new vice-presidents who will be part of its core management team. The new vice-presidents, R. S. Krishnan, Hari Krishna and Ravi Prabhakar, will look after the sales, human resources and operations areas respectively and will be based at the company's headquarters in Bangalore.

Plan Commission member resigns
New Delhi: Member of the Planning Commission, Dr K. Venkatasubramanian, has resigned from his office after completing four years of service. Amongst other projects Dr. Venkatasubramaniam was also the convenor of a Yojana Bhawan High Level Task Force on the vital subject of how to make India a knowledge superpower. The report was commended by international development agencies like the World Bank.

New appointees at IDEA
Mumbai: IDEA Cellular has announced a reshuffle at the top with Sudhir Mathur taking over as the new Chief Financial Officer. The others are appointees are S. Ramaswamy, Vice-President (Service Delivery and Quality), Lakshmi Narayana, Vice-President (Channel Management), Gururaj D. Kulkarni, Vice-President (Business Development), and Lekha Sishta, Head of Customer Services Quality. The company has also appointed D. Sundararajan as Vice-President for Mergers and Acquisitions.
