Rahul Bajaj to step down as Mukand chairman
Mumbai:
Rahul Bajaj, who holds the post of chairman of steel firm Mukand, will step down from his position on Saturday but will continue as a director on the board. The present managing directors, Niraj Bajaj (Rahul Bajaj's brother) and Rajesh Shah (family friend), will take over as chairman and co-chairman, respectively.

A board meeting has been called just prior to the AGM to elect the new heads of the company.

At the Bajaj Auto AGM held in Pune today, Rahul Bajaj said that the Mukand board would have to decide on the new chairmen as he did not have enough time since June last year, when he became a Rajya Sabha member.

Naresh Goyal gets clean chit over underworld links
Mumbai:
Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal has got a clean chit from intelligence agencies, including RAW regarding his alleged connection with the underworld, the Bombay High Court was informed on Thursday.

The court was hearing a PIL filed by Delhi-based journalist M Furqan, alleging Goyal had underworld links. The government counsel has said that the Union Home Ministry and the intelligence agencies, RAW and IB, have cleared Goyal's name. The court has directed the Centre to file an affidavit in this regard by Friday.
